Renzo Vestrini was an Italian rower who later became a renowned artist. Vestrini joined Unione Canottieri Livornese shortly after its founding in 1919. At the 1926 European Championship Vestrini placed second, with his brother Pier Luigi and coxswain Cesare Milani. They would improve and win the European title in 1927 and 1929, sandwiched around a disappointing performance at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. Domestically Renzo won four Italian titles.
After he left shells behind, Vestrini focused on his painting, settling in Paris, where his art matured, and then in Venezuela, becoming a Venezuelan citizen in 1943. He had numerous international exhibitions of his art. In his later years he also worked in architecture, building the Municipal Palace of Maracaibo, the Padre Claret Church, and the Church of the Olivos, all in South America.
