Throughout the 1980s Swedish rower Folke Brundin represented Mölndals Roddklubb and later served as the club’s chair. Brundin won multiple national titles, in addition to representing Sweden in several international competitions. In 1988 he was part of the crew that competed in the coxless fours at the Seoul Olympics. After advancing to the semi-finals via the repêchage, Sweden eventually finished fourth in the B Final to place 10th overall.
