Biography

Milan Hurtala rowed in the eight for Czechoslovakia at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. He also competed at the 1967 European Championships. After graduating from university, Hurtala became a coach, working with Slavia SVŠT Bratislava, and was later chairman of that club from 1992-2000. In 2007 he received the Bronze Circles of the Secondary School of Music in 2007.
