After the Olympics, Edoardo Garzena turned professional with 27 bouts through 1929, posting a record of 15 wins, 8 losses and 4 draws. He won several Italian lightweight title fights. In the late 1920s Garzena started working as a gym teacher. In 1946 he opened his own gym in Torino and is considered as a pioneer of personal training in Italy. Among his clients was the FIAT dynasty owner Giovanni Agnelli. In 1963 he was one of the founders of the Boxing Club Torino.
