Richard Bohslavsky of Innsbruck was an active and successful competitor in various sports shooting competitions in the state of Tirol in the late 1930s and 1940s. In 1948, he was one of three Innsbruck-based competitors who were chosen as the Austrian sports shooting delegation to the Olympic Games held in London (alongside Andreas Krapf and Ernst Wöll). There, he competed in the small-bore rifle prone (50 metres) event, finishing 58th overall and second amongst his compatriots.
