Rudolf Dollinger was an Austrian sport shooter who participated in the 1972 München and 1976 Montréal Olympics. On both occasions he won the bronze medal in the 50 metres free pistol event. He was the first Austrian to win medals in two consecutive Olympics and the only Austrian winning a medal at the 1976 Games. Dollinger held a doctorate in philosophy and worked with the municipality of Tyrol.
