Austrian sports shooter Horst Krasser qualified for the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. He placed 34th in the 10 metres air pistol event and 38th in the 50 metres free pistol event. Krasser won several national team titles.
Krasser was used to test Steyr air pistols and with the prototype of one of their weapons once finished third in the World Cup.
