Henri Quersin represented Belgium in trap shooting in 1920 and 1924. After winning the silver medal in the team event in 1920, he narrowly missed another medal, placing fourth with the team in 1924. In the Paris Olympics he was the oldest participant at an age of 61 years. In a book published in 1901 (Sports in Europe), which mainly dealt with hunting, Quersin wrote the part about Belgium. He was later the editor of the magazine Chasse et Peche (Hunting and Fishing). Quersin was a lawyer by profession.
