Félix Alegría was a physical education teacher who taught at various higher education institutions and was one of the founding members of the Union of Physical Education Teachers in Chile. He was a player, member of the board, and later president of the former football club Santiago National F.C., who played in the inaugural Chilean professional football season in 1933. Alegría was also an active member of the National Target Shooting Club and competed in two pistol and two rifle events at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics.
