Pedro Estay was an accountant early in his professional career, becoming the inspector for the Auditor General in Chile. He later moved to the United States where he worked as an importer/exporter in Arizona, North Carolina, and California. He settled in Driggs, Idaho, where he worked as a builder, before returning to Arizona, where he battled against ALS, which took his life.
