Biography

Guglielmo Spinello was an Italian boxer who never turned pro. He joined Centro Sportivo Carabinieri, and as an amateur was Italian light-heavyweight champion in 1970-72. Spinello won a silver medal at the 1972 World Military Championships (CISM). He competed at the 1972 München Olympics where he won his first round bout by knock-out in the second round, but then lost by decision to Rudi Hornig.
