Sakarai Paasonen was a Finnish pistol shooter who competed at the 1988 and 1992 Olympics, placing fifth in air pistol at Barcelona. Paasonen won multiple Finnish shooting titles, representing the Lahti Shooting Club. He worked as an engineer, and often designed and manufactured equipment and drills to help him develop his shooting skills.
