Biography

Athanase Sartori bought his first rifle at the age of 23. Eventually, he was buried with this rifle in Paris. Aged 60, he still participated in free rifle and military rifle events at the 1912 Olympic Games. In 1902, he already excelled as a pistol shooter winning bronze at the world championships in the 50 metres, free pistol team event.
