Great Britain entered two teams for the clay pigeon event at the 1908 Olympics and Easte was a member of the team that finished two points ahead of the Canadians to take the gold medals. Easte was undoubtedly off-form for the competition as he posted the worst score for his team and all six members of the second British team, who won the bronze medals, also bettered Easte’s score for the first team. He did, however, perform rather better in the clay pigeon individual event and finished in eighth place.
