Biography

Marcus Loader worked as a technician for The Atomic Energy Research Establishment (AERE) at Harwell, Oxfordshire (then in Berkshire) and represented them in various shooting competitions, including Bisley in 1969 when he captured the Civil Service pistol shooting title. The previous year Loader went to the Mexico Olympics but finished 62nd out of 69 starters in the 50 metres event. Loader won the individual title at the Home International Championships involving England, Northen Ireland, Scotland, and Wales at Bisley in 1967.
