Biography

Jens, brother of Uwe Potteck, was an East German pistol shooter. He placed tenth in the 10 metres air pistol at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. At World Championships, he won two team silver and two bronze medals, and in 1985 was individual runner-up at the Worlds. In 1983-84, and 1986, Jens Potteck won the air pistol national titles.
