West German skeet shooter Michaela Rink disappointed at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, finishing 44th. In 1986, she won a silver medal at the World Championships. She was also Youth European Champion in 1984-85, having been second in 1983. Nationally, she won six titles and two youth titles. She later married her teammate Uwe Schröder.
