Pistol shooter Gerhard Feller competed at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games, finishing 26th in the rapid-fire pistol event. In 1963 he won a team silver at the European Championships, and in 1966 he also earned a bronze medal at the World Championships, both with the East German rapid-fire pistol team. In 1962, Feller won his only East German title.
