Biography

Alfons Messerschmidt was a West German pistol shooter who participated in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He tied 23rd in the 50 metres free pistol event, and tied 18th in the 10 metres air pistol event. Messerschmidt was affiliated with SGi Ludwigsburg, and later turned to coaching.
