Olle Ericsson, a rifle shooter from Örebro SF, participated in two Olympic Games. When the Swedish team won the bronze medal in 1920 in standing military rifle, he was the best shooter with a mark of 54. His greatest international success, however, came at the World Championships. Ericsson won World golds with the free rifle, 3-positions in 1928; the military rifle, 3-positions in 1929; the 1935 standing military rifle; 1931 team small-bore rifle, 3-positions; and 1929 standing small-bore rifle. He won an additional 13 silver and 15 bronze medals with military and free rifles between 1927-37, in both individual and team events.
