Carl Flodström was first machinist in the Navy and an electrical engineer by profession. He was married to Maria “Mina” Cecilia, née Söderström, and had one daughter. At the Stockholm Olympics in 1912 he placed an excellent eighth in the military rifle, three positions, 300 metres individual event.
