Bengt Lagercrantz came from a famous Swedish noble family. He served as a lieutenant in the Svea Life Guards and worked as a managing assistant and later deputy director of AB Pump-Separator. In addition to his silver medal in team running deer, double shot at the 1920 Olympics, he was known for his crazy winter sports activities. In 1924, Lagercrantz died at only 37 years of age.
