Biography

Nils Skog occupation was initially given as worker and from 1910 onwards as county forest ranger. He remained unmarried and lived in Bjuråker, only 40 kilometres from his hometown Hudiksvall. In 1929 he received the Golden Badge of the Royal Patriotic Society. Skog was the first Olympian from the former province Hälsingland when he competed in the free rifle, three positions, 300 metres event at the 1912 Olympics.
