Biography

Alberto Forelli was an Argentina swimmer who represented Córdoba Athletic in the late 1960s and early 1970s. A specialist in breaststroke, Forelli represented Argentina at several international competitions during his career. At the 1968 South American Aquatics Championships in Brazil he won bronze in the 100 metres breaststroke and silver in the 4 x 100 metres medley relay. These results earned him a place on the Olympics team for the 1968 Mexico City Games, where he finished seventh in the final of the 100 metres breaststroke. Two years later Forelli won silver in both the 100 metres breaststroke and the 4 x 100 metres medley relay at the 1970 South American Aquatics Championships in Peru. After his retirement he served on the board of directors of his former club.
