Helen Denman was a breaststroker who swam at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She won a gold medal in the medley relay with Australia, although she swam only in the heats. However, she did win a silver medal in the 100 breaststroke at the 1998 World Championships, and was victorious in the same event at the Commonwealth Games that year, also adding a Commonwealth gold in the medley relay. At the 1995 Universiade, Denman took home a silver medal in the 100 breaststroke.
