Terry Buck became the first Australian Olympic swimmer to later coach the Aussie swimmers at the Olympics. He was on the Australian National Swim Team coaching staff from 1976 to 1984. He later was the swim team manager at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. Buck served as Chairman of the Australian Swim Coaches and Teachers’ Association, and served a term as director of Swimming Australia.
