Biography

French competitive swimmer Lucienne Rouet represented Mouettes Paris where she specialised in the backstroke. Rouet was part of the French national team that competed at the 1922 Women’s Olympics in Monaco. The same year she finished third in the 100 metres backstroke at the French championships, before coming third again in 1923 and second in 1924. Her performances earned her a place on the French Olympic team for the 1924 Paris Games where she swam in the 100 metres backstroke.
