Biography

Helmi Boxberger from SV Nikar Heidelberg swam at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. She was eliminated in the heats of the 100 freestyle and the 200 IM, and was part of the West German 4x100 freestyle relay that did not reach the final. In 1972 at München she started in both IM events but again was eliminated in the heats. She won her only West German title that year, however, in the 200 IM.
