Biography
At the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Games, West German diver Kerstin Finke surprised many by reaching the final of the platform event, and finished 11th. In the springboard, she failed to qualify for the final. Finke never won a national title but captured 14 youth titles. By profession she became a medical lifeguard.
