West German diver Renate Piotraschke participated in the 1976 Montréal Olympics in both events – springboard and platform, but she did not reach either final. In 1975 and 1977 she was West German springboard champion and from 1975-77 also platform champion. Her sister Karin was also a national calibre diver.
