Erik Hochstein was a West German swimmer who was a member of the 4x200 freestyle relay squad that won the bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. With the relay team he also won a silver medal at the 1989 Europeans. Hochstein studied at the University of Southern California, where he later worked as a swimming coach.
