Biography

Shortly after the 1932 Olympics Bert Lowe turned professional and had a brief pro career, competing in four bouts, winning three, one by knockout. He won his first three bouts but on 21 October 1933 lost by TKO against Harry Lister in Greymouth, and died that night from injuries sustained in the bout.
