Biography

Iftikhar Ahmed Shah was a Pakistani swimmer who was active in the years following the end of World War II. In 1948 Shah was part of Pakistan’s delegation that competed at the London Olympics. He swam in the 200 metres breaststroke but finished last of the 32 swimmers to compete in the event. He was also part of the quartet for the 4 × 200 metres freestyle relay, with Pakistan finishing 13th.
