Zus Engelenberg was a South African swimmer who represented Transvaal at the South African swimming championships. Engelenberg competed at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, finishing in third place in her heat in the 100 metres freestyle, but did not qualify for the final. Engelenberg was also part of South Africa’s team for the 4 x 100 metres freestyle relay with the team winning the bronze medal. Engelenberg did not compete in the heats or the final, however, and therefore was not awarded a medal.
