Joseph Wilson was a figure skating judge. At the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympics he was one of the judges in the ladies singles, which was won by Britain’s Jeannette Altwegg. Wilson gave Altwegg the most points after the compulsory programme, but awarded top marks to American Ginny Baxter after the free programme.
