Torsten Eriksson competed in plain high diving at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm. Although he placed second in his pool in round one, his score was not enough to advance to the final.
Eriksson passed his exam at the technical elementary school in Örebro in 1912. He joined the Swedish Railways and worked there first as a draftsman and later as an engineer. With his wife, Elsa Charlotta Viktoria (née Jansson), he had two sons.
