Ron Gower was an Australian boxer who burst onto the national boxing scene in 1946, when he was only 17, by winning the Tasmanian Flyweight Championship. Gower fought through 1955, competing at the 1948 and 1952 Olympics, and the 1950 British Empire Games. He was Australian Flyweight Champion in 1947.
