Biography

West German archer Doris Haas placed 11th at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics in the individual event. Four years later at Seoul she finished 32nd in the individual, and sixth in the team event.

Haas also won recurve team medals at the World Championships with silver in 1983 and bronze in 1985. She added another team silver at the 1986 European Championships, and in 1989 won a team bronze at the European Indoors. Domestically, she won ten national titles. By profession, Haas became a bank clerk.
