German beach volleyball player Danja Müsch played with three different partners at consecutive Olympic Games. In 1996, she finished tied seventh with Beate Bühler, in 2000 she tied ninth with Maike Friedrichsen, and in 2004 tied ninth again, with Susanne Lahme. In 1994, Bühler and Müsche became European Champions, and the following year won the bronze medal, and silver in 1996. In 2000, Müsch added another silver, with non-Olympian Jana Vollmer.
Domestically, Müsch won five national titles, with Bühler in 1995, with Friedrichsen in 1997, 1999, and 2001, and with Lahme in 2005. Müsch was elected Germany’s Beach Volleyball Player of the Year in 1997-9, and 2004. From 2007-10 Müsch worked as a sports reporter with German TV channel DSF (later Sport1), and afterwards became Head of Marketing at High School Fresenius.
