Biography

Brazilian volleyball player Mário Procópio spent his entire domestic career representing Minas Tênis Clube in Belo Horizonte. During the early 1970s Procópio also played for the national team and competed at several international competitions. In 1971 he was part of the squad that won bronze at the Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia. The following year he was selected to play at the volleyball tournament at the 1972 München Games where Brazil finished eighth. After his playing career Procópio worked in sports management at Minas Tênis Clube.
