Peruvian volleyball player Milagros Cámere competed for the women’s national team from 1991 to 2000. Cámere was part of the team that won gold at the 1993 South American Championship in Cuzco, Peru. At the championships she also won three silver medals (1991, 1995, 1997) and a bronze (1999). Peru won bronze at the 1991 Pan American Games in La Habana after beating Canada 3–0 in the medal round. Cámere played at the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympics, and competed at the FIVB World Championships in 1994 and 1998.
