Biography

Josef Musil was a Czechoslovakian volleyballer who won a silver medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and a bronze at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Musil competed for the Slavia Praha club. He won five medals at the World Championships, with golds in 1956 and 1966, and silvers in 1952, 1960, and 1962. He also won three medals at the European Championships, leading Czechoslovakia to golds in 1955 and 1957, and taking a silver in 1967.
