Biography

Slovak volleyball player Ján Repák competed for ČH Bratislava domestically in addition to playing international matches for Czechoslovakia. With ČH Bratislava Repák won the European Champions Cup in 1979 and the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1981. He was on the Czechoslovak team at the 1980 Moskva Olympics, playing in all six matches during the tournament. Repák also played at two editions of the World Championships and was still competing as a player in the veteran league well into his fifties.
