Bojana Milošević played for Yugoslavia at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, helping them win a silver medal. She started playing with Red Star in 1987 and spent most of her career with that club. She also played professionally in Greece, Italy, and with Beograd Vozdovac. In addition to her Olympic medal, Milošević won a gold medal at the 1987 Universiade, added to the bronze she won at that tournament in 1985. She won silver medals at the 1987 and 1991 European Championships, and won another silver medal at the 1990 World Championships.
