Croatian-born water polo player Davor Erjavec was on the German squad eliminated in the group stage at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. In 1995 and 1996, he won the German national title with Wasserfreunde Spandau 04. He first played with SV Cannstatt when he came to Germany in 1993, but then moved to Spandau a year later. Erjavec studied sports management in Germany.
