Wim Vriend was a Dutch water polo player who represented the Het Y swimming club in Amsterdam. Vriend was part of the Dutch squad that finished eighth at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, with him playing in seven matches and scoring four goals. His brother Harry was also part of the Dutch team for the Tokyo Games.
