Biography

As a middleweight and a light-heavyweight lifter, Klaus Groh won West German national titles in 1974-77 and 1979. At the 1976 Montréal Games he finished 10th in the middleweight class. By profession, he was employed as a soldier by the Deutsche Bundeswehr, and between 1984-92 worked as a real estate broker. In 1993 he opened a fitness studio.
