Biography

West German weightlifter Eduartd Ohlinger participated at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in the heavyweight II class. He did not finish as he had no valid lift in the clean & jerk section. Ohlinger died in 2004 at the fairly young age of 37 from complications following a heart attack. Two days before his death, Ohlinger competed in his last competition for his home club.
