Biography
Daniel Gevargiz Nejad was an Iranian weightlifter who competed in international competitions in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Gevargiz represented Iran in the middleweight class at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics but failed to produce a valid lift in the military press element. He had more success two years later when he won silver at the 1970 Asian Games in Bangkok.
