Günter Busarello was an Austrian wrestler who participated in the 1980 Moskva (Moscow) and 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. He came seventh in 1980 and was eliminated in the third round in 1984, both in the freestyle middleweight class. In 1980, Busarello won a bronze medal at the European Championships.
Busarello was a customer relations officer by profession. As he knew he had heart disease, he retired from wrestling after the 1984 Olympics. Nevertheless, he died of a heart attack the following year at the age of 25.
